Electrical Field engineer (FIFO)

📍 Red Lake, Ontario, Canada.

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Field Engineer to support the delivery of major mining infrastructure projects in Northwest Ontario.

Operating in a dynamic remote environment, you will provide technical coordination, quality oversight and field engineering support across construction activities, ensuring alignment between project specifications, contractors and client expectations.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support construction and project controls teams with sound engineering and technical guidance
  • Review and assess supplier methodologies and contractor works for compliance with project specifications
  • Coordinate quality control activities in accordance with project procedures, quality plans and inspection and test plans
  • Manage technical interfaces between clients, contractors, suppliers and key stakeholders
  • Assist with the preparation and coordination of technical reporting for project leadership teams
  • Support safe and efficient project delivery across all site activities
  • Contribute to a collaborative, safety-first project culture within remote site operations

The ideal candidate will bring:

✔ A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (P.Eng certification would be an asset)

✔ Experience within mining, construction, industrial or resource sector environments

✔ Strong field engineering experience, preferably within an Owner’s Team or client-side environment

✔ Broad understanding of project delivery across multiple phases of the project lifecycle

✔ Strong communication, coordination and stakeholder management capability

✔ A collaborative mindset with a commitment to safety, quality and delivery outcomes

 

This role operates on a FIFO roster from major Canadian centres, supporting projects in the Red Lake, Ontario – known for its rich mining history and stunning landscapes.

PROJECTS SAFETY COORDINATOR (FIFO)

📍Red Lake, Ontario, Canada.

We are seeking an experienced Projects Safety Coordinator to lead safety culture of multiple contractors on remote mine sites.

Working within a remote environment, you will play a key role in driving a strong safety-first culture across site activities, supporting contractor management, risk mitigation and project compliance while working closely with the client, contractors and site leadership teams.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in safety inspections, risk assessments and incident investigation processes
  • Provide expert advice on high-risk construction activities
  • Facilitate contractor auditing and compliance processes
  • Coordinate the collection and review of contractor safety reporting
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly project safety reports
  • Promote and support a proactive workplace health and safety culture across all project activities
  • Support site teams and contractors to ensure alignment with project safety requirements and procedures

 The ideal candidate will bring:

✔ Formal qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety. A recognized Canadian Safety Certification will be highly regarded.

✔ Experience in a construction environment, preferably within the resource, energy or industrial sectors.

✔ Exceptional work ethic with a focus on teamwork and delivering outcomes.

✔ Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.

✔ An advanced understanding and commitment to workplace health & safety culture.

✔ Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

✔ Experience working FIFO rosters and remote site environments
